| Purpose of the meeting A public meeting on permit modification applications for the land application of biosolids in Nottoway County. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss technical issues related to the permit applications and receive public input on the permit applications, discuss the standard content of permits and detail how the public can provide comment on draft permit modifications. Synagro Central, LLC has applied for a permit to land apply biosolids to 23 fields in Nottoway County, VA totaling approximately 3685.5 acres of farmland. Six fields owned by Scott Timberland, two fields owned by Amelia Lumber, eight fields owned by Whit & Jennifer Morris, one field owned by Vaughan Cattle Company, LLC, two fields owned by William F. Meyers, one field owned by Brandon Martin, one field owned by Jeffrey D. Gibbs, and two fields owned by Donald & Gene Knight. Nutri-Blend, Inc. has applied for a permit to land apply biosolids to 25 fields in Nottoway County, VA totaling approximately 1431.1 acres of farmland. Four fields owned by Michael Borum, two fields owned by Jeffrey D. Gibbs, five fields owned by Troy G. & Mildred B. Hickman, nine fields owned by Donald & Gene Knight, and five fields owned by George R. Ragsdale of Blackstone Timber. | |
