| Explanation or Citations | The 2009 Acts of Assembly, Chapter 611, established the 2009 Virginia Tax Amnesty program. In accordance with Va. Code ยง 58.1-1840.1(C), this document establishes the guidelines and rules for the procedures for participation in the program. On October 29, 2009, TAX issued an addendum clarifying situations where the 20 percent amnesty penalty will not apply. |
