On 4/24/2015 the board requested that this
emergency stage be extended until 3/14/2016.
Reason for Extension:
The Virginia Department of Health (VDH) requests extending the emergency regulation for gravelless material and drip dispersal until March 16, 2016 for the following reasons: This emergency regulation will expire on September 13, 2015. This extension is necessary for VDH to continue enforcing regulations mandated by Chapter 220 of the 2013 Acts of Assembly (ยง32.1-164.9 of the Code of Virginia), while completing the process required under the Administrative Process Act to enact final regulations. This emergency regulation establishes requirements for the physical construction, design, and installation of gravelless material and drip dispersal components for onsite sewage systems.
This emergency extension request was approved by the Governor's office on 8/3/2015.
