Reproductive justice is a broad spectrum, and women deserve access to safe and legal healthcare procedures at all points along that spectrum. Just as we advocate for access to quality maternity healthcare for women choosing to have healthy live births, so do we advocate for access to abortion care. These clinic restrictions cannot be viewed as pro-woman or pro-patient, because they will result in restricting access. Just as we would oppose the closure of all the maternity wards in Virginia’s hospitals, so do we oppose the closure of all the abortion clinics. We demand reproductive justice for all women.
