Dear Government Officials,

All facilities providing medical and surgical procedures in Virginia should be held to the same high standard of regulation and monitoring.

If the Board of Health holds abortion clinics to a lesser standard of care for their patients, the inference is that the Board feels that women receiving services at these under regulated facilities do not deserve the higher standard of health care that is required at other medical and surgical facilities.

When will the first law suit be filed because a woman suffered infection, loss of a uterus, or even death during abortion, due to the negligence of the Department of Health for allowing substandard care at abortion facilities?  The headline will probably read "Discrimination against  Poor Women at Under Regulated Abortion Clinic."

I support the TRAP Regulations, even though I abhor abortion.
