TRAP regulations

It's outrageous and shameful that the Virginia legislature does not feel we need to have sensible regulations for child care businesses--but will spend their valuable time writing onerous and unnecessary regulations in an all-too-obvious attempt to close down as many reproductive health clinics as possible. This is cynical point-scoring politics at its worst, and no way to govern.

I wish I could remind the honorable legislators that these same reproductive health clinics are there to help the women of Virginia, who need and rely on them--clinics where they can get contraceptive care and prenatal health care--all of which help to eliminate the need for abortions! We can help to reduce abortions by helping women make good decisions regarding their personal reproductive health care--by supporting these clinics and keeping them open. Closing them will do no good whatsoever and only hurt women's health.

Please do the right thing for Virginia's women--and do not allow these misguided, politically-motivated and medically-unneccessary TRAP regulations to pass into law.

Thank you!
