I oppose abortion. Abortion does absolutely nothing for women's rights.  Most young women who have abortions have them against their will, because of pressure from a parent or a boyfriend, and regret the loss of their children for the rest of their lives.  Over 55 million unborn Americans have been violently murdered in abortion mills in this country, many in Virginia, and that is a great evil.  All of that being said, I believe that any facility offering abortion procedures in the Commonwealth of Virginia must meet basic standards of medical sanitation and safety.  How could anyone advocating for women's rights oppose that?  In Virginia, we regulate the sanitation and safety of veterinary clinics to keep our animals safe, and no one objects to these regulations.  Shouldn't women visiting abortion facilities in Virginia be kept just as safe as our animals?  I think the regulations protecting women visitnig abortion facilities should be stringently drafted so as to meet the highest possible standards of medical sanitation and safety.  Moreover, the regulations should provide for the respectful burial or cremation of the unborn babies that are killed in these facilities.  These unborn babies are not medical waste and should not be treated as such.
