is among the most fundamental of rights. Yet legislators and regulators blithely ignore it.

Many of the same people who want to restrict abortion would bristle at the thought of regulating the size of bottled soda sold in a convenience store or the number of calories in a meal or the number of cartridges in a magazine. 

I am amazed that legislators and regulators think women -- and men --are so stupid that they should not be free to make their own choices.  

Power does corrupt, driving principle -- and freedom -- aside.
