I see no need to change the regulations regarding gifted education.  Under the current regulations our county has made huge strides in the way we meet the needs of our diverse gifted population.  The proposed changes would result in a step backward causing a long term negative impact on gifted learners in Virginia.  These students deserve so much more than these regulations would allow.
