If a woman choses to get an abortion, it is important that it be as safe as possible.  Requiring that abortion centers have emergency equipment, basic sanitary procedures, and proper medical personnel makes sense.  These centers should be inspected and regulated.  When unregulated, it has been shown that many violations have taken place.  The state has a duty to protect women's health.
