Protect women’s access to reproductive health care

I am one more citizen who is against the proposed targeted regulations on abortion providers (TRAP).  The Commonwealth of Virginia should not be placing unnecessarily burdensome regulations on clinics which provide health care, including legal reproductive health services, to women.  If the proposed TRAP goes into effect, this will be tantamount to the state imposing its will on health care decisions which should be left to each individual woman.  If you go there, it seems like a small step to carry state control of health decisions to Communist Chinese extremes.  Will you next regulate the number of children a woman is allowed to bear?

The proper course is to regulate all medical providers. including those who offer abortions, only as much as competent medical professionals deem to be medically necessary for the safety and protection of patients.  Leave political bias out of this process.
