Virginia clinic TRAP regulations

I urge the Governor and the Board of Health to stop the permanent passage of the Targeted Regulations Against Abortion Providers. These are unnecessary and serve no purpose, but to close down the clinics which provide abortion services. Only 3% of their business has to do with abortion services, and the rest are necessary health services for women such as birth control, cancer screenings, mammograms or PAP smears. These regulations will only hurt women who are poor or have no insurance and must rely on these affordable services. Rich and middle class women will always be able to get abortion services elsewhere so who are you hurting, but those who have little. Why do we have to go back to the years of back alley abortions and death? No one has ever died in Virginia of an abortion in these clinics so why are women being punished? Why are we not putting the same regulations on eye surgery or facelift clinics where they have had problems? Your religious convictions and values should not be inflicted on everyone in the state. We all have different religions, and they all do not punish women. There is such thing as the separation of church and state, and this country was founded on religious freedom. Why are we not talking about medically accurate sex education, rape education and penis responsibility? Virginia has allowed the religious values of the few to supercede the good of many. There is no common sense any more, and the priorities are absolutely screwed up.
