Action | Regulations for Licensure of Abortion Facilities |

I am a physician practicing medicine in Roanoke, Va. Many of the women I treat are unmarried, pregnant and live below the poverty level. Clinic care is their only access to high quality medical care. Many of these women receive routine medical care through Planned Parenthood clinics in the state.
These women need to have these facilities available to them and not closed because of political regulations based on the abortion issue.
Planned Parenthood provides medical care for thousands of men and women. Only a small portion of Planned Parenthood efforts are to provide abortions for those requesting these services. TRAP laws have no concern for the health care or needs of women. It has all to do with placing government in the way of women’s rights to quality medical care and abortion.
