So disappointed that you let politics interfere with the regulation of our medical clinics

To the Virginia Board of Health,

I strongly urge you to reverse the decision to mandate unnecessary and burensome regulations on our women's health clinics in Virginia.  Basing clinic regulation on political opinions to marginalize providers (with absolutely no medical necessity) is just plain wrong.   Families in Virginia deserve better.

The high standard of care provided by women's health centers is proven by their impressive safety record. Abortion is one of the safest medical procedures. Overregulation will limit access to a wide range of preventive reproductive health care services provided by women's health clinics, including life-saving cancer screenings, family planning, and sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment.

Stop playing politics with women's lives.

As a woman, a mother, a sister, a daughter and as a candidate for the 86th District in the VA House of Delegates in 2013, I implore you to reverse the decision.

Respecfully submitted,

Jennifer Boysko
