Thank you for requiring abortion facilities to have the same safety, health standards as an out patient clinic.  Why we have not been looking out for the health of women for all these years is beyond me.  No, it does not have to be a religious thing, a GOP agenda, it's about women receiving as much care as your poodle (veterinary clinics have more safety regulations and are inspected more than abortion facilities).

Yes, women have died from abortions done after 1973.  Women have been left infertile due to botched abortions.  It is not a simple, safe procedure.  Yes, women have a right to know the Health Department is doing everything it can to insure ALL doctors are held to the same standards whether they are getting a root canal or an abortion.

Please uphold this legislature.  Thank you.
