It is defies logic that the state would NOT have in force basic Standards of Care for a medical facility.  While many have politicized this issue, it is not "politics" for any provider of medical services to provide this by ensuring that in a clinic where surgery/medical procedures are performed that they would not have the same regulations in force that any outpatient medical clinic would have.  If they wish to operate as a medically specialized "doc in the box" facility, then of course, they should be under the same regulations that any other medical facility would fall under.  Please enforce basic Standard of Care regulations and protect the rights ot those who wish to use these facilities so that they know their medical care will indeed be provided in a facility that must comply with the standards of any other surgical facility within our state.
