Among the health and safety violations found in Virginia abortion facilities when inspected was one clinic that had "spilled blood and conception material in the bottom of a freezer" and another that "didn't change the cleaning solution in a sink every time dirty instruments were brought in".   Of course regulations are needed.  Abortion is an invasive procedure and those "medical facilities" that perform abortions should have to meet the same health and safety requirements of other medical facilities.
