It is the duty of the Virginia Board of Health to protect the health of the citicens of Virginia. The proposed TRAP regulations fail totally to achieve that end.  Women's health centers should be subjected to regulations arrived at by a scientific and evidence-based medical regulatory process.  The TRAP regulations do not meet this test.  The Board should reject the TRAP regulations and, instead, subject the women's health centers to regulations appropriate for the medical services provided there.  Do not inject politics into the regulation of women's health centers.
