Outrageous

Has there been a sudden epidemic of voter fraud in Virginia which justifies these crazy regulations?  Or is this just a case of “if it’s not broke, let’s fix it anyway”.  Voter turnout in elections, especially at the local and state level, is pitifully low.  Our state election officials should be more concerned with making it easier for people to vote not harder.  Is it really that hard to determine if a voter is who he or she says he or she is?  Can’t election officials apply a little common sense and judgment to determine the validity of a ballot?  Is it just a coincidence that the inadequacy of Virginia election regs arose suddenly once a Republican administration took over the Virginia state house.  Is this part of a nationwide effort of Republican dominated states to limit ballot access to those who traditionally vote democratic?  Please let commonsense prevail and discard these onerous regulations.
