I strongly favor and support this proposal. I also highly recommend that the “marriage amendment” be overturn, as it is based on sex discrimination and is nothing less than a Hate Crime that should never have been allowed in a free country and one that prides itself on separation of church and state. Homophobia is a mental disorder and people with this disorder or otherwise hateful people should not be allowed to restrict the rights of other people who do no harm to others. Those people who support the marriage amendment and want the state/country to make or keep laws that discriminate and violate the rights of others, lack the love and compassion that their god wants them to aspire to and their religious leaders are severely lacking in their progression. Our government needs to be above these small-minded ignorant and hateful people. After all, isn’t that what being a leader is about? I am a heterosexual Virginian.
