I strongly support this proposal to extend insurance benefits to "otherwise qualified adults" living in the employee's household.  The proposal seems to be well throught-fhrough by carefully exempting renters, etc. in a household.  Virginia prides itself on being a business-friendly state.  This proposal is a step closer to the enlightened practices in this regard of most larger private employers.

My only regret is for what was probably a political compromise, that the proposal requires that the OQA pay his or her entire premium.
