Action Summary |
The amendments to this chapter are being made in an effort to give the Stewards/Judges the ability to use mitigating as well as aggravating circumstances when issuing penalties to participants that violate the regulations for the medication of horses. The amendments also refer to a guidance document (The Association of Racing Commissioners International Uniform Classification Guidelines for Foreign Substances) that may be used by the Stewards/Judges as a guideline in the penalty stage of the deliberations for rule violations. |
