| Action Summary |
In accordance with Section 2.2-4011 (A) of the APA and Executive Order 21 (2002), the Board is proposing emergency regulations that will revise and clarify definitions; fees; qualifications for licensure; issuance of a license to initial applicants; registration of CPA firms; standards of conduct and practice; use of consultants in investigations; renewal requirements; and CPE requirements for initial applicants and regulants. Other revisions govern the temporary practice of CPAs in VA who have not been issued a VA CPA license; the requirements for non-CPA owners in CPA firms in VA; and enforcement actions against regulants. |
