Action Summary |
The amendments adopt four new substantive provisions in Medication (11 VAC 10-180-10 et seq.). The provisions are (i) the possessing or administering Erythropietin or any analogous substance is prohibited, (ii) prohibiting the use of "shockwave therapy" devices on racehorses ten days prior to a race, (iii) treating racehorses three hours or less prior to post time, and (iv) restricting the levels of carbon dioxide concentrations in post-race testing. |
